5 Spencer Ave, passed away Friday (January 18, 2008) Jones Memorial Hospital.
Born in Hornell,March 26, 1936, the son of Leonard Lewis Sr,and Lucy Elsenheimer Lewis he had resided in Hornellmost of his life. Earl had served in the US Air Force, was a member of theHornell VFW, Hornell Association, andthe Hornell American Legion.
He was predeceased by a brother Murray Lewis.
He is survived by son Earl (Tricia) Lewis of Hornell, 4grandchildren, a brother Leonard Lewis Jr, a sisterViola Johnson, many nieces and nephews, and his great friend Jim Lecceardone.
The family will be present 2-5pm Tuesday, at the Bender - Brown & Powers FuneralHome,
354 Canisteo St,Hornell, where funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM, with the Rev. Dudley Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Bath National Cemetery.
