E. Raymond McKibben,79, of
11 Walnut Street,passed away Thursday (January5, 2006) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Born in Canisteo, February 3, 1926, the sonof Elmer and Gertrude Sullivan Packard, hehad resided in Canisteo all his adultlife. He was a graduate of Canisteo Central School,Class of 1944, and had served in the U.S. Navy. He had been employed as an inside camera manfor the Evening Tribune for several years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Hornell Associationand the Canisteo American Legion Post.Mac enjoyed hunting , fishing, and especially bowling.
He is survived by hiswife, Kathleen Stiles McKibben whom he marriedJanuary 26, 1947, two daughters: Trudi (Andrew Duffy) Cline of Troupsburg, Lynn (Laverne) Neu of Hornell, two sons: Steven McKibben and Scott (Kimberly) McKibben both of Hornell, formerson-in-law, Leo Cline of Canisteo, 11 Grandchildren, Timothy(Tabitha) Cline ofHornell, Michael (Rachelle Reyes) Cline ofGeorgia, Angela (Douglas) Ray of Canisteo, Deborah (Michael) Sizer of Fultonville, Cynthia Neu of Jamestown, Kari (Thomas) Hall of Groton, Marcella(Matthew) Oathout of PA., Kati Jo McKibbenof Hornell, John McKibben, Scott McKibbenand Christopher McKibben all of Hornell, 10 GreatGrandchildren.

The family will be present to receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8PM Saturday at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce St., Canisteowhere funeral services will be held following calling hours at 8 :00 PM. Deacon Robert McCormick will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery,Canisteo.
