Duane Dodge, 74 of OldAlmond Road, Hornell passedaway Saturday, November 8th2008 at his home after a 3 month struggle with cancer.

Duane was born on May 28th, 1934 in his home on " Misery Mountain"(The Almond Turnpike Road).

He will forever be remembered as a lover and a master ofthe great outdoors, an avid and awe-inspiring horticulturist and landscaper, abeautiful poet, a captivating entertainer, a wise cracker, a joker, aprankster, and an all around cad.

He was a hillbilly in the most definitive sense of the word, andmost importantly, he was an honest, loving, passionate, and generous man whowould literally give you the shirt off his back.
