Creeley age, 82, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday (August 29, 2023) at Fred & Harriet Taylor Health Care Center in Bath, New York. He was born in Blossburg, PA on July 8, 1941 the son of Harold & Gertrude (Hilliard) Creeley. Duane worked and retired from the Bath VA. He loved to play the piano, play card games with his family and friends and, also liked to garden. He was predeceased by his wife Ruth Bender Creeley of 55 years, and was also predeceased by his brother Edward Creeley. He is survived by his 6 children Karen (Steven) Neff, Kevin Creeley, Kimberly (Jeff) Rathburn, Kenneth (Trina) Creeley, Keith (Patti) Creeley, and Kristopher (Sarah) Creeley, his brothers and sister Larry, Carol, Harold Jr., Paul, and Ron, 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and one great grandson on the way. The family will be present to receive family and friends on Saturday (September 2, 2023) from 5-7pm at the Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home 354 Canisteo Street in Hornell. A Funeral service will be held on Sunday (September 3, 2023) at 2pm at the Funeral Home.
