2 Third St., passed away unexpectedlyThursday (January 22, 2009)at St. James Hospital.
Born in Hornell, September 11, 1965, the son of Walter Alan and Carol Haltwanger Ray, hehad resided in Canisteo all his life. He was a graduate of Canisteo Central School and until illnessforced his retirement, he was employed at Crowley Foods in Arkport. Doug was a avid bowler, enjoyed sports andespecially NASCAR.
He is survived by hiswife, Angela Neu Ray, whom he married June 22, 1985,his daughter, Jena (Josh Washburn) Ray of Canisteo, his sons, Todd (Megan Tygrett) Ray of West Virginia, and Kevin (Bridgett Hurd) Ray of Canisteo, his parents, Alan and Carol Ray ofCanisteo, his sister, Pamela (Ron) Guido of Chicago, his brother, Jeffrey(Erika Gundrum) Ray of East Nassau, his granddaughter, Ava Ray, and mother and father- in-law, LaVerne and Lynn Neu of Hornell.

6 Spruce St., Canisteoon Sunday from 1 PM until 3 PM and 5 PM until 7PMat which time a funeral services will follow calling hours at 7 PM. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery,Canisteo on Monday at 10:00AM
