6497 Whitford Rd.,passed away Saturday (May23, 2009) as a result ofinjuries sustained in an ATV accident in the Town of Almond.
Born in Hornell, January 15, 1973, the sonof Douglas and Mary Gaynor Brown Sr., he had resided in Alfred Stationall his life. He attended Alfred Almond Central School and was active inLittle League, scouting, wrestling and baseball during his high schoolyears. He enjoyed hunting and motorcross racing. He was employed for LeChase Construction out of Rochester, and was a member of Carpenter's Union, Local # 785.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, William F. Brown in1984, and his brother, Jeffrey Brown in 1994.
He is survived by his parents, Douglas and Mary Brown ofAlfred Station, his children, Kyland Brown, Devin Brown and Josh Brown, andtheir mother, Denise Curry, all ofHornell, his sister, Christine Brown, formerly of Lima and currently of GooseCreek, SC,, Maternal grandparents, Charles Gaynor of Alfred Station and DorisGaynor of Hornell, Paternal grandmother, Hazel Brown of Wellsville, 3 nieces, Keishia and Tabetha Decker ofDansville, Fiona McLane-Brown of SC, one great nephew, Tyler James ofDansville, several aunts , uncles, and cousins.
The family will be presentto receive friends from 7-9 PMThursday and 2-4 7-9 PMFriday at the Bender - Brown &Powers Funeral Home,
354 CanisteoSt, Hornell where funeral services will beheld onSaturday at 11 AM.Rev. Charles Emerson will officiate.Burial will be in Alfred Rural Cemetery.
