15 Howard Street, passed away Friday (December 26, 2008) at McAuley Manor in North Hornell.
Born in Hornell, January 16, 1919, thedaughter of Wilbur and Mildred Hyde Brown,she had resided in Hornell nearly all her life. She had been employed as aseamstress for Loohn's Cleaners for several years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ferris Cox in 1984, 3sisters, Adette Brown, Genevieve Marshall and Wilburta Rowley, as well as onebrother, Harold Brown.
She is survived by one daughter, Joann (James) O'Heron ofCanisteo, 3 sons, Donald Cox , James (Mary) Cox and Tom (Linda) Cox all ofHornell, 2 sisters, Treah (Curtis) White of Florida and Adaire (David) Brewsterof Arkport, Sisters-In-Law, Maybelle (Carl) Hess of Hornell and Doris Blanchardof Hornell, Brother-In-Law, Leo (Robin) Cox of Greenwood. 15 grandchildren,Adele (Jeff) Kilbury of Arkport, Jay O'Heron of Hornell, William (Cynthia)O'Heron of California, Patrick O'Heron of Hornell , Dawn Blough of Canisteo,Douglas (Julie) Cox of Boston, NY, Lisa Cox of Rochester, Robert (Christine)Cox of Binghamton, Susan (Gordon) Willitt of Hornell, Shawn Cox of NorthCarolina, Christopher (Heather) Cox of Hornell, Timothy Cox of Olean,Amy(Shane) Schaumberg of Hartsville, Megan Lyke of Hornell and Ryan Cox ofHornell, 12 Great Grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
