Dorothy J. Pastalenic (Seaver) passed away peacefully Saturday, March 29, 2025.
She was born June 20, 1926 to the late Dudley Seaver and Julia Seaver (Ainsworth). She served the World War II effort as a secretary, working for a classified division of MOOG Corporation and later years worked at NTID and Colgate Divinity School. After the war, she married John Pastalenic, April 10, 1948, whom she enjoyed 72 years of marriage prior to his passing. But most of all, she was a devoted Christian and loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved Jesus.
Dorothy will be sadly missed by her children, Thomas E. Talen (son), Julana S. Thompson (daughter), Norman Thompson (son-in-law) and grandchildren; Nicholas, Olivia, John, and Brent, extended family and many loyal, loving and devoted friends. A memorial letter to celebrate Dorothy's life will be mailed at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Samaritan's Purse (
