6618 Whitford Rd.,died Thursday (January 15,2004) at the Vincent House inWayland.



Born in Alfred Station, May 2, 1925, the daughter of Earl and Bertha Pierce Palmiter,she had resided in Alfred Station all her life. Dorothy had been employedby SUNY Alfred as a night manager and part time cook. She was predeceased byher husband Harley Miller in 1964 and her second husband John Ide in 1972, andwas also predeceased by her daughter Amy Ide in 1972, and 3 brothers Lester,Charles, and Earl Palmiter.



She is survived by

1 daughter Phillis Rusak of Florida

1 son HarleyAlan Miller of Hornell

1 brother ClintonPalmiter of Alfred



At Dorothy's request there will be no calling hours. Burialwill be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Almond.
