Dorothy H. Hanks, 79, of
WhiteStreet, passed away Thursday (August 2, 2007) at Cuba Memorial Hospital.
Born in Belmont, September 7, 1927, thedaughter of Charles and Alma Austin Hubner, she had been a lifelong area resident.Dorothy was retired from Alfred State College, and had attended the Angelica United Methodist Church. She enjoyedreading and refinishing furniture.
She was predeceased by her husband Donald in 1980, hersister Martha Hubner, and brother Ernest Hubner.
She is survived by a daughter Linda ( Kent ) Keeslerof Cuba, a son Donald (Rhonda) Hanks of Bridgeton, Missouri, 4 grandchildrenMonica Moore of St Louis,Jeffrey Hanks of St Louis,Mary Radomski of Cuba ,Tim Keesler of Cuba ,and 2 great grandchildren.
The family will be present 3-7pm Monday, atthe Brown & Powers Funeral Home,
101West Ave., Angelica, where funeral services willbe held on Tuesday, at 10:00 AM,with Rev. Ron Reichman (Chaplain ofOlean General Hospital) officiating.Burial will be at Until The Day Dawn Cemetery.
