Dorothy G Davis, 86, of 6441 Jefferson Pike, passed awayTuesday (February 19, 2008)at Frederick Memorial Hospital,Frederick, MD.
Born in Baltimore, March 22, 1921, thedaughter of Rufus and Anna Mary Mallonee,she had resided in Frederick,MD for many years. Dorothymarried George Wilmot Davis in CorpusChristi, TX on November 24, 1942, whopredeceased her on Jan. 3,2002. Dorothy spent most of her life as a volunteer in Scouts,Hospitals, Churches and Nursing Homes.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Davis (William) Loveof Frederick, MD 2 sons Edward (Onita) Davis of Tuscon, AZ, and Robert Davis of Houston, TX, sister Anna Duemig of Hillsboro Beach, FL, 6grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews .
Graveside services will be held at Fremont Cemeteryon Saturday, February 23,2008 at 11:00 AM,with the Rev. Beth Kottemann officiating.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Robertson Funeral Homeof Hornell.
