Doris E. Zanghi, 93 of Stephens Street, passed away Sunday (Nov. 28, 2021) at Highland Park Nursing Home in Wellsville.
Born in Hornell, March 23, 1928, the daughter of Herman and Agnes Allison Warters, she had resided her entire life in Canisteo.
She was a graduate of Canisteo Central School and was employed for 33 years at the former Foster Wheeler in Dansville. Doris had attended the United Methodist Church in Canisteo and was a member of the KAHOCO group. Doris will be remembered for her enthusiasm for motorcycles. She began riding at age 43, and finally gave up her motorcycle at age 88.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband; Leonard Zanghi, and her brother; Dale Warters.
Surviving are 2 sons; Joseph (Diana) Zanghi, and John (Patty) Zanghi both of Hornell, her sister; Carol Downey of Caladonia and her brother Richard Warters of Connecticut, 4 grandchildren; Angela (Josh) Delany of Hornell, Andrea (Chad Giglio) Zanghi of Hornell, Kathryn Zanghi of Hornell and Joseph Zanghi of Arkport, 7 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Canisteo.
