Doris M Greene, 97, of
Mechanic Street, passed away Wednesday (April 11, 2007) at Cuba Memorial Hospital.
Born in Grove, April 12, 1909, the daughter of Raymond and FlorenceWright Guy, she had resided in Angelica for many years. Dorishad been employed for many years as a cook at the Angelica Hotel and later forthe Brothers 4 in Almond, and had most recently as a receptionist at the GreenThumb in Wellsville. She was also a member of the Angelica United Methodist Church. Doris enjoyed cooking, knitting, sewing, andcrocheting, but was most well known for being everybody's Grandma, she was anamazing woman whom everybody loved.
She was predeceased by her parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by 2 daughters Joyce (Joe) Kenyon ofAngelica, and Jean (George) Cobin of Angelica, a son Raymond (Sylvia) Green ofSeabrook, NH, 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 15 great greatgrandchildren, a special friend Betty "Punky" Hayes of Angelica, and severalnieces and nephews.
The family will be present 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday, at the Brown & Powers FuneralHome,
101 West Ave.,Angelica. Funeral services will be heldat the Angelica United Methodist Church on Saturday, at 2:00 PM, Rev. Ernest Tracy officiating. Burial will be at the Until The Day DawnCemetery.
