Donna M. Olin age 81 passed away peacefully on Tuesday (May 14, 2024) at Elderwood in North Hornell, New York.
She was born in Canisteo, New York the daughter of Carlton Howard and Ida Jane Hallett Howard, and was a graduate of Canisteo Central School “Class of 1961”. On December 15, 1961 she married Frederic Olin. Together they raised 3 children DonnaSue Olin, Dale (Vicky) Olin, and Janet Olin, she is also survived by her grandson Wade (Michaela), and granddaughter Jessica Kimball, and her sister Sandra Ess.
Donna worked at St James Hospital as a cleaner for 2 years, and later drove bus for the Hornell City School District.
She was predeceased by her parents, her infant daughter Debra Lynn Olin, her husband Fred, and her sister Audrey Smith.
At Donna’s request there will be no public calling hours or service. A private Graveside service was held on Friday (May 17, 2024) at Rural Cemetery in Hornell.
