Donald Reid Kinney

Donald R. Kinney age 86, passed away on March 21, 2026 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing Home in Mt. Morris.

He was born in Dansville, NY on January 20, 1940, the son of Philip Kinney and Carrie (Green) Kinney. Donald had served in the US Marine Corps, and had worked in the Real Estate Business as a Broker. He was a member of the Canaseraga American Legion, and St Mary's Catholic Church in Canaseraga.

He was predeceased by his parents, a daughter Colleen Kinney, and his sister Judith Glover.

He is survived by his sons Daniel (Shelly) Kinney of Michigan, Stephen Kinney of Hawaii, Michael (Julie) Kinney of Washington, his brother Richard Kinney of Canaseraga, his sisters Jacklyn Hunt of Canaseraga, Joyce (Buzz) Baker of Canaseraga, Janet (Rick) Butler of Canaseraga, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (April 30, 2026) at St Mary's Catholic Church at 11:00am, with burial and military honors to follow at St Mary's Cemetery in Canaseraga. A Luncheon and Celebration of Life will be held the same day at 1:00pm at the Canaseraga American Legion all are welcome.
