Donald C. Howe, 36, of 24 Cottage Ave, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday (February 12, 2013) at St James Mercy Hospital.
Born in Hornell, July 24, 1976, the son of Donald F. and Vicki Gibson Howe, he had resided in Hornell and Canisteo all his life. He was a graduate of Hornell High School, Class of 1994, and had been employed for Baker's Rendering Service in Rochester. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and had a great love for animals. He was an avid Miami Dolphins Fan,
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Lewis Howe, and Jennie Howe Warriner.
He is survived by his parents, Donald (Patricia) Howe of Hornell and Vicki (Steve Drumm) Howe of Hornell, his son, Jacob Fay of Canisteo, his companion, Lori Ogden of Hornell, 3 sisters, Christine Wilson of Hornell, Stephanie Stillman of Kentucky, and Jessica Dowdle of Hornell, his maternal grandparents, Junior Cole Gibson and Geraldine Gibson of South Pultney, 4 Step-Sisters, Karen (Richard Russell) Coleman of Olean, Teresa (James) Sexton of Hornell, Debra (Dave) Crosby of Hornell and Tracy (Steve) Daniels of Hornell, 2 step-brothers, Andrew (Kim) Mayo of Acton, Mass., Michael (Michele) Palmer of Canisteo, 2 uncles, Edward (Judy) Gibson and Terry Gibson both of South Pultney, 1 Aunt, Sherry (John) Anderson of Hammondsport, nieces & nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends on Friday from 4 PM until 7:30 PM at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell where funeral services will be held following calling hours at 7:30 PM. Deacon Robert McCormick will officiate. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery, Hornell.
