Donald L. Farnsworth, a retired mechanical engineer, diedWednesday June 16 at Rochester's Strong Memorial Hospitalfollowing a brief illness. He was 75.
He was born in Lockport,NY on May 1, 1929, the son of Leo and IreneHolly Farnsworth. After graduating from Lockport Senior High School,he obtained a Bachelor's degree in engineering at SUNY Maritime College in New York City. He workedfor the Harrison Radiator Division of General Motors located in Lockport, NY.He was employed as an engineer from 1952-1983 when he retired. He resided inWest Almond, NY for the past 24 years.
He was married to Fran DeVoeFarnsworth for 52 years. Other survivors include:

He is also survived by his sister Elizabeth Migda, and two nieces of Lockport
