Donald D. Brundage, 91, a resident of William Street, passed away peacefully Saturday (Feb. 28, 2026) at his home. He was born in Hornell on July 26, 1934, the son of William and Dora Gottschall Brundage.
Donald was a graduate of Alfred Almond Central School and had resided in Rochester where he was employed as a set up person for General Motors Rochester Products for over 30 years. He returned to Hornell around 1995.
Donald had been a member of the former St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Hornell, and currently a member of the First Baptist Church of Hornell. As a hobby, he enjoyed woodworking and building.
He was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Dorothy Graham and his brother Frederick Brundage.
Surviving are his wife, Dixie Brundage of Hornell, his twin brother, Ronald Brundage of Hornell, stepdaughter, Reida (Lowell) Foster of North Carolina, stepson, Ronald Pierce of Wellsville and stepdaughter Rebecca (Jeff) Baier of Webster his sister-in-law, Barbara Brundage of Endicott. Also surviving are six step-grandchildren, Aydan Baier, Makenna Baier, Kyle (Marcie) Foster, Joshua Foster, Ryan Foster and Ashlee (Tyler) Bielec, step-great granddaughter, Madison Bielec and his niece Diane Graham of LeRoy.
There will be no calling hours. A private family committal service will be held at Rural Cemetery in Hornell.
Friends wishing to remember Donald are asked to consider a memorial contribution to the First Baptist Church of Hornell.
