Born in Rochester,January 1, 1942,the son of James and Elizabeth (Lyndsey) Clark, hehad resided in Hornell most of his life.Don is a former member of the Hillside Baptist Church,and had served his country as a memberof the U.S. Air Force. He was a memberof the South Hornell Fire Department and had been employed on the Maintenance Staff forthe Hornell School District as well as the formerHornell Sample Furniture.
He was predeceased by his grandson: Phillip Stiles Jr.
He is survived by his daughter: Debra (John) Coates ofHornell, Five Step-Grandchildren: Chad Coates, Joseph Coates, Justine Coates, Jeana Potter and Jennifer Voss.
The family will be present to receive friends on Thursday(February 28, 2008) from 2-4PM at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home,354 Canisteo St. Funeral services will follow calling hours at 4PM, officiating will be Pastor CraigA. Brittingham.Burial will be in Arkport Cemetery.
