Dolores R. Herdman, 89, of Partridge Hills, passed away Tuesday (February 27, 2018) at Benincasa Hospice House.
Born in Cuba, NY, June 15, 1928, she was the daughter of Claude and Esther Hunt Hills. Throughout her life Dolores loved and raised many different breeds of dogs. She loved horses and had an unconditional love for her family. Dolores was a second mom to her nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, 2 sisters; Barbara Juarez and Joanne Gray, 3 brothers; Robert, Norman and Ralph Hills.
She is survived by her children; Darlene Metatos of Angelica, Randy Hills of Albany, Todd Hills of West Almond and Joy (Tim) Pender of Honeoye Falls, grandchildren; Jeremy (Tonya) Metatos of Angelica, Amber Metatos of Angelica, Justin Hills of Honeoye Falls, Bella Pender of Honeoye Falls and Ava Pender of Honeoye Falls, great-grandchildren; Noah, Riley and Faith Szymkowiak and Charisma and Tristan Metatos, her sisters; Gloria Huey, Kathleen (Patrick) Hadden, Jane Alexander, Judy (Garry) Wagner, and Linda (Fred) Brown, brothers; Ted (Joanne) Hills and Keith (Roxanne) Hills as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
