Diana L. "Lynn" McLaughlin, 63, of County Route 119, passed away Wednesday (October 23, 2013) at her home following a long illness.
Born in Wellsville, July 1, 1950, the daughter of Herbert and Florence Jackson Simpson, she had resided in Hornell all her life until moving to Canisteo in 2008. Lynn had been employed in Quality Control for the former Morrison Knudsen and later for Alstrom both in Hornell.
She was predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth J. McLaughlin of Canisteo, her daughter, Tina (James) Dombert of Canisteo and her son, Troy (Tracy) Griffin of New Jersey, her sisters, Diane (Edward Jr.) Bailey of Hornell, Dawn (Albert) Hazzard of Hornell and Dina (Thomas) Moore of Ohio, her brothers, David Simpson of Corning and John (Debra) Simpson of Hornell, 6 grandchildren; Brandon Griffin, Matthew Griffin, Allison Griffin, Emilee Griffin, Zackariah Dombert, and Christian Dombert. Several nieces & nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell on Saturday from 11 AM until 1 PM where Funeral services will be held immediately following calling hours. Rev. Mark Simpson will officiate. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery, Hornell.
