Dennis M Dorsey, 60, of 50 North Street, went to be with the Lord Monday (May 28, 2012) at Highland Hospital, after a long illness.
Born in Wellsville, September 4, 1951, the son of Harold E. and Doris M. (Bullock) Dorsey, he was a lifelong area resident, graduating from Angelica Central School. Dennis had worked for the former Angelica Central School for many years, and later at the Allegany County Sheriff's Department until 1998. Dennis enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, but most important was his family. Dennis took care of his mother Doris giving her 24 hour care until her passing in 2011.
He was predeceased by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Catherine (Conklin) Dorsey whom he married in 1972, 3 daughters Robin (Mike Becher) Miller of Hornell, Starr (Todd) Masten of Angelica, and Tracy King of Angelica, his sister Kathleen (Art) Williams of Florida, his 6 grandchildren Megan, Brandon, Gabrielle Masten, Caleb and Ethan Miller and Christian King, and several cousins including 2 special cousins Debby Barry and Darlene Hecker.

A private family graveside service will be held at the Until the Day Dawn Cemetery in Angelica.
