Dena A. McManus, 65, went to be with the Lord Thursday (October 11, 2007) at McAuleyManor.
Born in Wellsville, February 4, 1942, thedaughter of Lloyd and Yvonne Jones Pelton, she had resided in Wellsville,Belmont and moving back to the Hornell area in 1978. Dena had been employed by the Wellsville School District,and retired from the NYSDOT in Hornell. She had been a member of the Wellsvilleand Hornell Christian & Missionary Alliance Churches.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brother AllenPelton .
She is survived by husband Donald McManus whom she marriedin June of 1981, and a brother Paul Pelton of Orlando.
The family will be present 2-4 & 6-8PM Monday,at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home,
354 Canisteo St, Hornell, where Funeralservices will be held at 8:00 PM,with the Rev. Donald Maynard officiating.Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.
