Della Jean Pragle, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026 surrounded by her family at Strong Memorial Hospital . She loved her family and her great grand fur babies. She loved to raise her favorite spider plants. She lived in Wayland, New York most of her life until she moved to Elderwood in Hornell where she had an amazing roommate, Sara. Della loved to talk to anyone, she was the sweetest, loving, and caring person in the world. She was always there if you needed to talk.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Gleason, son, Bob Rathman, granddaughter, Emma Gleason, grandson, Rodney Carmody, Sister, Darlene Rathman, brothers, Kenny Rathman, Ron Rathman, and Steve Rathman and her boy friend, Leon Fields.

She was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Patt Rathman, ex-husband, Larry Pragle, boyfriend, Wessly Grayer and many fur babies.

There will be no calling hours but a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The family is being assisted by Bender-Brown & Powers Funeral Home of Hornell.
