Born in Hornell, May 8, 1929, a son of Louis andHilda Kromer McManus, he had lived at homeall his life because of his disability. He was cared for by his mother for 45years, before residing at the ICF Home in Hornell, and the Waters at Houghtonwhere he was given excellent care. He was a member of the former East AvenueUnited Methodist Church, enjoyed gardening, doing puzzles, listening to countrymusic, riding bicycle, and general maintenance around the home. He will beremembered as a loving and congenial friend to everyone who knew him.
He is survived by one sister- Sandra (Edward) O'Heron of Hornell, twobrothers- Don (Dena) McManus of Hornell, Daniel (Kathy) McManus of Hornell,nieces and nephwes.
The family will be present toreceive friends at the BENDER-BROWN & POWERS FUNERAL HOME, 354 Canisteo Street,Hornell, on Saturday from 2 untill 4PM where funeral services will be held following calling hours at 4 PM. Rev. Richard Doud willofficiate. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery, Hornell.
