David B. Dugo, better known as Uncle D./ Duke Daddy Dugo," King Of The Blues" 62, of 99 Front St. was given to our Lord on Sunday (June 25, 2017) .
Born in Hornell, March 1, 1955, the son of the late Joanne, Harriett and Dominic Dugo, David attended the Hornell City Schools and resided in Hornell his entire life. He served his country as a member of the United States Navy, stationed in Hawaii for two years, prior to being honorably discharged.
He was previously employed at the former Hornell Wholesales, the Hornell City School District as a bus driver, and numerous other places. David's greatest enjoyment was being with his "unbiological" children. He would do anything for the children; many his own great nieces and great nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, his sister; Rosemary Dugo who was given to the Lord on October 10, 1935, at 26 days old, and his great niece Ashley Renee Aldrich on July 31, 2011.
He is survived by his two loving sisters, Shirley( Dugo) Page Jackett of Hornell and Barbara( Dugo) Ordiway of Hornell, his foster son; Zach Broughton of Hornell, many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, numerous cousins , all his unbiological children, many friends and his life long friend, John Scott.

The family will be present on Thursday from 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell.
At the conclusion of calling hours, there will be no formal funeral service at David's request. David wanted all to remember him, leave not sad, and to go out and celebrate his life. Burial will be in Heritage Hill Cemetery, Arkport.
