Daniel Paul Sutton, 39 of State Route 19, passed away unexpectedly Sunday (Nov. 21, 2021) shortly after arrival at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville.

Born in Dansville, Dec. 3, 1981, the son of Robert W. Sutton Jr and Debra Dobell Sutton, he had resided in Canisteo and most recently in Wellsville.

Daniel will be remembered as a devoted husband and father, making his family the center of his life. In the early years, he enjoyed playing baseball and was formerly a volunteer fireman for the North Hornell Fire Department.

He was predeceased by his mother, his paternal grandmother; Helen Griffin, his paternal grandfather; Robert Sutton Sr., and his uncle; Michael Sutton, and his maternal grandfather; Robert Dobell.

He is survived by his wife; Helen Clark Sutton of Wellsville, his daughter; Racheal Sutton of Wellsville, his sons; Daniel P. Sutton of Wellsville and Kyle Sutton of Wellsville, his sister; Holly (Scott Dickinson) Sutton of Hornell, his brothers; David Sutton of LeRoy, Jeffery Sutton of Hornell and Shawn (Crystal) Sutton of Elmira, his father; Robert Sutton of Endwell, his step father; Joseph Mallery of Bath, and nieces and nephews; Alexis Sutton, Jozelyn Sutton, Gavin Sutton, Haven Sutton, Cullen Sutton, and Jaelynn Matt.
