Cynthia Porter, 68, a resident of State Route 21, passed away unexpectedly Saturday (Aug. 16, 2025) at her home.
Born in Rochester, Dec. 17, 1956, she was the daughter of Donald and Dorothy Evans Porter. She was a graduate of Dansville High School, Class of 1975, and spent most of her life in Dansville. Cindy moved to Hornell several years ago. She had been employed for several years as a receptionist at the Virdee Medical Group.
She was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Patricial Rogers and her nephew Brian Wood.
Surviving is her sister, Pamela (Dusty) Rhodes of Wellsville. Nephews, Greg Porter, Michael Wood, Dusten Rhodes, Ronald Rhodes, James Rodgers, Mark Rodgers, and her nieces, Kathy Galton, Crystal Fenti and Rhonda Rhodes. Several Great nieces and nephews, and her feline best friends, Chloe and Lacey.
Honoring Cindy’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
