Cynthia L. Burley, 51, of Leonard St., passed away, surrounded by family on Saturday (January 20, 2018) in Strong Memorial Hospital.
Born in Hornell, NY, May 27, 1966, the daughter of Lloyd Baird and Elizabeth McDowell, she had resided in Hornell most of her life until her move to Dansville 10 years ago. On December 29, 1985 she married Steven E. Burley who survives. When Cindy was in high school she belonged to the Desperado Debs. She was extremely family oriented and had a huge heart, she was the greatest mother and wife her family could ever ask for. Cindy would give you the shirt off her back if you asked for it.
She was predeceased by her parents and 2 sisters; Fairnon and Rosalee.
She is survived by her husband Steve of Dansville, 4 sons; Steven R. (Mary) Burley of Conesus, Nathan W. (Bobbie) Burley of Dansville, Joshua (Jen) Towner of Wayland and Michael Bloom of Hornell, 3 sisters; Sue (Dave) Kuhn, RayEtta (Mike) McLean and Nancy (Scott) Evans, grandchildren; Renee Teeter, Jonathan Rankin, Lilliana Rankin, Keelan Barnhardt, Owen Burley, Emma Towner, Addison Towner and Noah Towner as well as several nieces and nephews.
