Curtis T. Harmonson Sr., 56, of 221 Madison Avenue, passed away Sunday (April 1, 2012) at St. James Hospital.
Born in Exmore, VA, April 8, 1955, the son of Isaiah Smith and Ida Harmon, he had resided in Hornell the past 39 years. He had been employed for several years on the Janitorial Staff at Alfred State College. He was a member of the Hornell Association and attended the Rehoboth Deliverance Ministries in Hornell.
He was predeceased by his father and one son, Tyrone Wright.
He is survived by his wife, Marseena Harmonson of Hornell, his mother, Ida Brickhouse of Hornell, 3 daughters, Atoria Harmonson of Hornell, Sarah Baines of Maryland and Conswalla Foskey of Rochester, 2 sons, Isaac Wright of Belmont and Curtis Harmonson Jr. of Virginia, his sisters, Loretta (Ernest) Gay of Virginia, Atoris Harmonson of Virginia, Ida (Robert) Wise of Hornell and Pricilla (Rev.Willie) Justis of Virginia, his brothers, Clarence (Agnes) Harmonson of Louisiana, Eurafius (Margaret) Harmonson of Virginia, Isaac (Lynn) Harmonson of Georgia, Isaiah (Barbara) Smith and Lonnie (Marge) Smith both of Virginia, and James Lee (Becky) Sheppard of Lousiana, God children, Kevin, Eddie, Jen, Mike, Jacquie, Mindy, Wendy, Danielle, Amy, Tausha, Scott, and Jason. Grandchildren, Adrianna, Mayleigh, Malik, Jayda, Tiona, Mitchell, DeShawn, Quinton, Jordan, Emmanuel, and Malaya and Christian, one great grandchild Zarianna, nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends from10:00 AM Until 12 Noon Saturday, April 7, 2012, at the Rehoboth Deliverance Ministries 112 East Avenue, Hornell, where funeral services will follow calling hours at 12:00 PM, Mother Juanita Braswell officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canisteo.
