Cullen Lldon Jamison
Canisteo
Cullen Lldon Jmison, 42, passed away Thursday (August 8, 2024) unexpectedly. Born in Hornell, he was the son of Bruce Q. Jamison and Jean Sunderlin Pfitzenmaier. Cullen had resided nearly all his life in Canisteo and Howard, was a graduate of Canisteo Central School and received his Associates Degree in auto mechanics from SUNY Alfred.
Cullen’s biggest joy in life was his daughters, Avah, Abby, and Kayleigh, and watching them flourish. While his first love will always be his children, his second love was farming and animals. It was sad that he couldn’t do it any longer.
He was predeceased by his father, Bruce Q. Jamison, his maternal grandparents; William Sunderlin and Charlotte Sunderlin Rawson, his paternal grandfather and best friend, Lldon “Tiny” Jamison.
Surviving is his mother, Jean Pfitzenmaier, daughters Avah, Abbey and Kayleigh, his brother Daniel and family, his sister, Jillian (Travis) Knapp and family, his paternal grandmother, Myrtle Jamison, several nieces & nephews.
Those who knew him, before his pain and suffering, will remember his smile and willingness to help others regardless of the pain he was suffering. Substance and alcohol abuse do not discriminate. No parent or family member signs up for this.
There will be no calling hours. Private funeral services will be held for the immediate family only.
Those wishing to remember Cullen are asked to consider a contribution to Casa Trinity, 86 River Street, Hornell, NY 14843.
