Cristopher Bolton, 45, of Dyer Hill Road passed away Monday (June 6, 2022) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Born on July 29, 1976 in the Village of North Hornell the son of Daniel and Marlene (Jones) Bolton, he had resided the majority of his life in Avoca.
He had been employed as a landscaper at Steuben Landscaping in Wayland and as a part time musician. Christopher will be fondly remembered by many for his love of music, skateboarding, fishing, cross country skiing and the outdoors. He was a collector of antiques, enjoyed yard-sales and was a frequent seller and buyer of items on the internet. He was voted “Most Artistic” by the Avoca Central School graduating class of 1995. Later he earned an Associate Degree in Landscape Development and Ornamental Horticulture from Alfred Tech and was very talented in landscape design. Cristopher held a soft spot in his heart for animals, particularly those of his neighbors and his cats; Mr. Leo, Mr. Garfield and Lady Goo-Ga.
He was predeceased by both parents, Maternal grandparents; Richard and Shirley Jones and Paternal grandparents; Oscar and Margaret Bolton.
Survivors Include; his aunts and uncles; Michael (Barbara) Jones, Tim (Victoria) Bolton and Rhonda (Tim) Carey, cousins; Katrina Carey, Dylan (Emily Nicholas) Carey, Krista (Adam) Priola, Caitlin Jones, Travis Jones, Sarah (Patrick) Carberry, Curtis Bolton (Rob), Caitlin Bolton (Brian Sadler) and special friends; Melissa Cox and Jonathan Miller and family.
There will be no calling hours. A celebration of Cristopher’s life will be held at a later date. The family is being assisted by Anthony Cone, Director.
