Clarence J Hettinger, 81, of 3972 Karr Valley Road, passed away Monday (January 9, 2012) at Jones Memorial Hospital.
Born in Buffalo, January 6, 1931, the son of John and Sylvia (Kolaga) Hettinger, he had resided in West Almond since 1972. Clarence was retired from the Sales and Marketing field last working for Hunter Engineering of Bridgeton, Missouri. Clarence enjoyed golfing, hunting, baseball, football (especially the Buffalo Bills), and hand making Radio controlled airplanes.
He is survived by his wife Pearl (Brandel) Hettinger whom he married on December 2, 1950, 2 sons Mitchell (Winnie) Hettinger of Belfast, Glenn Hettinger of Niagara-Wheatfield, a sister Lucille (Michael) McMullen of Cheektowaga, 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
The family will be present 12-2pm Friday, January 13, 2012, at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 101 West Ave., Angelica, where Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, with the Rev. David Ford officiating. Burial will be in Until the Day Dawn Cemetery, Angelica.
