Born in Hartsville, May 8, 1926, the son of Fred andLillie Woodworth Hartman,he had resided in Canisteo until 1999before moving to New Port Richey, FLA..
Clarence owned and operated Hartman's Auto Service inCanisteo, from 1955 " 1988
He was a 38 year member of the Canisteo American Legion ,Canisteo Rod & Gun Club and a member of Morning Star Lodge #65 F&AM,where he had been Master of the lodge , two times.
He was predeceased by a sisterMargaret Hale and a brother Charles Hartman.
He is survived by hiswife of 57 years, Margie Cone Hartman of Fla.
one son: Wayne Hartman ofCanisteo, three sisters: Doris VanFleet of Canisteo, Louise Brown of Bath, and Julia Barton of GA, one brother: JamesHartman of Canisteo,.
2 Grandchildren , 4 GreatGrandchildren , Neces, Nephews and Counsins
