Clara R. Harris, of 17 Olean Street, passed away peacefully, Sunday (May 22, 2016) at the Wellsville Manor.



Born in Belmont, the daughter of Edward and Rose (Mastin) Scott, she was a lifelong are resident, graduating from Belmont Central School. Clara loved the Lord, and was a member of the Angelica Baptist Church, where she enjoyed attending night services. She enjoyed shopping, visiting with people, classic country music, but most of all she enjoyed her family, and her furry little companion Chloe her dog.



She was predeceased by her parents, her husband George L. Harris on February 15, 1997, whom she married on January 11, 1961, and also several brothers and sisters.



She is survived by her daughters Kimberly Brown of Belmont, Victoria (Justin) Thaine of Angelica, her son Scott (Wendy) Harris of Belmont, her 3 granddaughters Deidre Brown of Cuba, Brittany Brown of Belmont, and Lindsay Harris of Genesee, PA, her great grandson Noah Channing Rutkowski, her brother Jack Scott of Black Creek, her special niece Debbie Osterhout of Belvidere, as well as several other nieces and nephews.



A Funeral service will be on Wednesday (May 25, 2016) at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church in Angelica, with Rev. David Ford officiating. Burial will be at the Until the Day Dawn Cemetery.
