Charlotte J. Drum, 93, of County Route 70-A, passed away Wednesday (September 23, 2015) at her home.
Born in Clark's Summitt, PA, March 20, 1922, the daughter of Eslie and Ruth Miller, she had resided in Hornell for several years. Charlotte was a seamstress for the former Marion Rohr in Hornell and was a former member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ. She was an avid volunteer for many local organizations and loved reading, gardening, crosswords, playing board games as well as games on her iPad.
In addition to her parent's she was predeceased by her husband, Stanley in 1986, three brothers, Harry, James, and Donald Sengstock, two grandsons and one great grandson.
She is survived by her children, Paul (Linda) Drum Sr. of Almond, Nancy (Bob) Smith of Hornell, William (Christine) Drum of Hornell, Thomas (Terry) Drum of Hornell and Sharon (Edward) Tobin of Hornell, special friend, Cathy Shupp, two sisters, Vivian (William) Allen of IN, and Virginia Flanders of FL, 16 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends from 2-4Pm and from 6-8Pm on Sunday (September 27, 2015), at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell. Honoring Charlotte's wishes a private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family, Rev. Roger Reed officiating. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery, Hornell.
