Charles H. Lehman, 68, of 8361 Reddy Hollow Road, passed away peacefully Sunday (May 4, 2014) at home.
Born in Hornell, February 21, 1946, the son of Otto and Eileen (France) Lehman, he was a lifelong area resident. Charlie was a retiree of Stern & Stern Textiles in Hornell. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
He was predeceased by his parents and his 3 brothers Joe, Larry, and Johnny Lehman.
He is survived by his wife Dorothea Glover Lehman, whom he married on December 16, 1972, his daughter Cindy (Art) Blanchard Jr. of Avoca, a sister Nancy Allington of Corning, 3 brothers James (Jeanette) Lehman of Canisteo, Fred (Eileen) Lehman of Hornell, Ken (Jennifer) Lehman of Arkport, a sister in law Annette Lehman of Hornell, 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
The family will be present on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, 11:00 AM, with Donald Lester officiating.
