Charles F. JordanJr. 78, formerly of BennettStreet, passed away Friday (September 29, 2006) at the Steuben County Health Care Facility in Bath.



Born in Hornell, January 22, 1928, the sonof Charles F. and Mabel Johnson Jordan Sr., hehad resided in Hornell all his life. Hehad served in the US Army and was employedas a supervisor for the former National Fuel Gas Corp. in Hornell prior to his retirement.He was a member of the First Baptist Churchin Hornell and enjoyed hunting , fishing and playing cards.



He was predeceased by his wife, Doris Crooks Jordan in 1988 and hissister Ruth DeGroff.



He is survived by three daughters: Deborah (Steven) Mullen of Canaseraga, Linda (Paul Bruun) Jordan of Hornell, Kelly (Howard) Keogh of Arkport, two sons: Gregory (Anna) Jordan of Hornell and David (Christine) Jordanof Canisteo, one brother: James(Claudia) Jordan of SC. Several grand and greatgranchildren.



The family will be present to receive friends on Tuesdayfrom 11 AM until 1 PMat the RobertsonFuneral Home, new location,

354 Canisteo St,Hornell where services will be held at 1PM following calling hours.Burial will be in Rural Cemetery, Hornell.
