Charles A. Easterbrooks,72, of County Route 66, passed awayWednesday (September24, 2003) in St James Mercy Hospital.
Born in Wellsville, November 21, 1930, the son of George andElva Eymer Brown, he was raisedin Bishopville and had resided inHornell the past 50 years. He was a graduate of Arkport Central School,Class of 1949. He was employed as awelder for the former Foster Wheeler Corporation in Dansville, retiring as aForeman in 1984, after 34 years of service.Charlie enjoyed hunting , fishing and camping and will beremembered as a loving husband, father,grandfather and great grandfather.
He was a communicant of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Hornell, memberand past president of the Alfred Rod & Gun Club.
On September12, 1953, he married the former Ruth Lykeand together they celebrated their 50th Anniversary just 2 weeksago.

The family will be present 2-4& 7-9 PM Saturdayto receive friends at the Bender-Brown &Powers Funeral Home,
354 Canisteo St., Hornell.Funeral services will be held on Sundayat 2:00PM with Rev. SamuelSmith officiating. Burial will bein Arkport Cemetery.
