Charles G. Campbell, 67, of
2512 Co. Route 119, passed away Monday (May 21, 2007) at his home, losing his verycourageous battle with cancer.
Born in Canisteo, March 30, 1940, the son of Charles M. and Evelyn Flint Campbell, he had resided in Canisteo all hislife. He had attended Canisteo Central School,and will be remembered as a wonderfulhusband, a very special father and grandfather, & "Poppa Dad". He touchedthe lives of all he knew and enjoyed spending time with family, friends, especially his grandchildren., and his summerhome in Troupsburgh.
He was predeceased by his parents and his son, TimothyCampbell in 2006.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marjorie StewartCampbell, 2 daughters, Robyn (David) Mart of Kentucky, Heather (Brian Hunt)Campbell of Belmont, his son, Alan (Kim) Campbell of Canisteo, hisdaughter-in-law, Nicole Campbell of Ohio,2 sisters, Janice (Lester) Erskine and Bonalee (Chester) Erskine both ofCanisteo, his brother, Larry (Carolyn) Campbell of Canisteo, 10 grandchildren,nieces & nephews.
The family will be present to receive friends from 2-4 &7-9PM onWednesday at the Brown& Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce St., Canisteo where funeral services willbe held on Thursday at 11:00 AM, Rev.Matthew Sassano officiating. Burial will be in Arkport Cemetery.
