Cecelia M Weber, 97, of
1190 Webbs Crossing Rd, passed away Monday (October 16, 2006) at her home.
Born in Canisteo, August 29, 1909, the daughter ofMr and Mrs J Sydney Macy, she had attended the Canisteo Elementary Schooland graduated from Bloomfield High School in BloomfieldNJ,and also from Drake Business Schoolin NYC. She had worked as a secretary on Wall Street for several years, to thePresident of the Pharmeceutical Concernat Phizer Co. She returned to the Hornell area in 1958 and was then secretaryto the Hornell Jr. High School principal,and had also worked for the NYSDOT. She resigned from work to marry the lateRev. Clifford Weber in 1964, who predeceased her in 1979. She was a member ofthe Arkport Presbyterian Church, was the president for two years of theFortnightly club, and was also a member of the Music Group.
She is survived by herson Peter ( Doris) Freiermuth of Almond, and astep son Dr. Clifford (Kuniko) Weber of Boston, MA, and several cousins.
There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Canisteo.
