Caroline T. Marcum, 65, of the Lincoln Gardens on Canisteo St., passed away Monday (January 29, 2018) at St. James Hospital.



Born in Wayland, August 14, 1952, the daughter of Roscoe M. and Geraldine T. (Smalt) Edgecomb, she grew up in Wayland, NY and had resided in Sacramento California most of her adult life, returning to Hornell in February of 2017. After graduating from Wayland Central School, Caroline married her first husband and father of her children, Kevin Perkowski; during those years they lived in various places due to his Air Force career. Caroline enjoyed playing cards, reading and doing needle point work. Caroline loved animals. After Caroline's return to Hornell she started attending the Alfred Almond Bible church with her family.



She was predeceased by her parents and her husband Tom Marcum.



She is survived by 2 daughters; Tonya Perkowski of Victor and Carrie (Gary) Minsavage of New Jersey, 2 grandchildren; Audrey and Lila Minsavage, 2 brothers; Charles (Gladys) Edgecomb and Raymond (Donna) Edgecomb, a half-brother; Mark Edgecomb, 2 nieces; Amy (David) Sheroshick and Wendy (Michael) Chace and a nephew; William (Faith) Edgecomb.
