Carole A. Della Penna, 86, of 7558 Moss Road, passed away peacefully Sunday (October 16, 2016) at her home.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, August 25, 1930, the daughter of Hercules and Nora (DeSabitini) Cimorelli, she was a resident of the Pottstown, PA area, as well at the Hornell, NY area. In 1952, she married John Anthony Della Penna, and was predeceased by him on October 18, 2004. Carole was also an accomplished painter.
She was also predeceased by her parents, and 3 siblings Anntonette Marziano, Michael Cimorelli, and Hercules Cimorelli.
She is survived by her son John (Lori) Della Penna of Hornell, her daughter Theresa (Tony) Vitacco of Pottstown, PA, several grandchildren, and great grandchilern, and her siblings Betty Shamus, Dante Cimorelli, Frani Gery.
A period of visitation will be held at the St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church 2340 Kimberton Road Phoenixville, PA 19460, from 9:30am-10:30am, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am. Burial will take place immediately at the Highland Memorial Park in Pottstown, PA.
