Carol M. Feenaughty, 79, of 164 East Avenue, passed away Saturday (November 19, 2016) at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville.



Born in Wellsville, June 2, 1937, the daughter of Walter and Ruth Robinson Chase, she had resided in Hornell for many years. She had been employed as a cook at the former Big Elms Restaurant in Hornell as well as the former Sugar Bowl in Dansville and Bob & Ruth's in Naples. Carol was an avid bingo player.



She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters; Marguerite Munn, Shirley Alverson, Marilyn Chase, Lois DeMonte and Helen Diaz, and her brother; Richard Chase.



She is survived by her daughters; Patricia (Tim Callahan) Oakes of Hornell, Sharlene Kemp of Hornell, Kathy Weldy of Buffalo and Karen( Donald Ward) Booth of Hornell, her sons; Mike (Lynda) Feenaughty of Batavia, Larry (Kris) Feenaughty of Hornell, Joe (Kelly) Jackson of Canisteo and Ronald (Priscilla) Feenaughty of Almond, her brother; William (Barbara) Chase of Florida, her longtime friend and companion; William Bacon of Hornell, 37 Grandchildren, 69 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Honoring Carol's wishes there will be no public visitation or service. The family will observe a private interment in Greenmont Cemetery in Dansville at their convenience.
