View Tribute Book Carlos Vincent Orozco Hornell Carlos Orozco, 81, of Mays Ave. passed away Tuesday (November 8, 2022) at his home.He was born in East Orange N.J. on July19, 1941, a son of Victor and Barbara (Peck) Orozco.Carlos spent his early years in East Orange where he graduated High School before moving to Rochester and eventually coming to Hornell in the late 1960’s.He was a member of the Canisteo Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and had been self employed as a Locksmith for many years. He worked at Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital in emergency medicine (emergencies and assisting with autopsies at times) and also at Bethesda Hospital in N. Hornell as a Respiratory Therapy Technician.He was a serious fan of Herpetology and was a member of the Herpetology Club of Rochester. Art and music touched his soul and he enjoyed sharing that passion with anyone who stopped by. He served as a Medic in the U.S. Army from 1960-1963. He was predeceased by both parents and a Brother; William LaVenice.Survivors include: His Wife of 53 years; Jeanne (Doty) Orozco of Hornell, four Sons; Jason (Heather) Orozco of Hornell, Kyle (Elsie) Orozco of Ocala, FLA., Sean (Heidi) Orozco of Watkins Glenn and Kristopher (Linnett) Orozco of Bath, one Daughter; Jaimi Orozco of Canisteo and her Fiance; Robert Reed of Oswego, two Brothers; John LaVenice of Lancaster, PA. and Antonio Orozco of N.J., nine Grandchildren; Alejandro Orozco of Watkins Glenn, Ethan Huette of New Port Richey, FLA., Gabriel Orozco of Watkins Glenn, Carter Huette of Canisteo, Graziella Huette of Canisteo, Kamdin Orozco of Watkins Glenn, Rafael Orozco of Watkins Glenn, Keyla Orozco of Ocala FLA., Francesca Huette of Canisteo and many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.To send a remembrance to the family, please visit: www.brownandpowersfuneralhomes.com or on Facebook @brownpowersfh.
