Calvin J. Dell, 83, of
BreitwieserRd, passed away at his daughters home inFriendship, Monday (December3, 2007).
Born in Buffalo, July 21, 1924, the son of James F and Ethel M Hards Dell,he had resided in Angelica, since 1973. Calvin graduated from Riverside High Schoolin Buffalo, andjoined the US Army and Signal Corp. serving during World War II earning therank of Sergeant. He had retired from Prudential Insurance Co., was a member ofthe Angelica United Methodist Church and the AmericanLegion Post 414 of Angelica. Calvin enjoyed his farm in Angelica and gardening.
He was predeceased by his wife Anna Jane Dell on March 14, 2007 whom hemarried on January 12, 1946in Buffalo, hewas also predeceased by his brothers Edward, George and William Dell, andsister Eunice Baronowski.
He is survived by a daughter Robin (Robert) Clark ofFriendship, 4 sons Ronald J Dell of Angelica, James (Randi) Dell of Texas,Michael Dell of Angelica, Geoffrey (Mary) Dell of Indiana , a brother James ( Lorraine) Dell ofCheektowaga 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren .
The family will be present 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday,at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home,
101 West Ave., Angelica. Funeral services will be held at the Angelica United Methodist Church on Saturday, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Ernest Tracyofficiating. Burial will be in Until TheDay Dawn Cemetery with Military Honors.
