C. Roger Woodworth, 73, of State Route 417, passed away Sunday (July 5, 2015) at Olean General Hospital..



Born in North Hornell, NY, October 10, 1941, the son of Clarence C. and Mary Stewart Woodworth, he had resided in Greenwood since 1946. He had been employed as a station operator and mechanic for National Fuel Supply in Independence for several years before his retirement. He was a member of the Greenwood Fire Department.



He was predeceased by his parents.



He is survived by his wife, Mary Keegan Woodworth of Greenwood, his daughter, Keeley Woodworth of Horseheads, his sisters, Ella (Bill) Mullen of Canisteo, Alberta (Bill) Gray of Oregon and Audrey (Bill) Hawkins of Jasper, his brothers, Larry (Jeanie) Woodworth of Hornell and Ronald (Frances) Woodworth of Jasper, nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce St., Canisteo on Friday from 5 PM until 7 PM where the Greenwood Fire Department will honor his membership at 6: 45 PM. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM, Rev. Donald Maynard officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
