101 Greenwood St., passed awayunexpectedly Saturday (February9, 2008) in St. James Hospital.
Born in Jamestown,NY, March 18, 1924, the daughter of Robert and MildredLong Hays.
She grew up in the Jamestownarea, was a graduate of Celeron High School, and a memberof the Canisteo Wesleyan Church.She met and married Ralph Earle Peters on November 21, 1942. Tina and Ralphwere married for 57 years prior to his death in 1999.
She was predeceased by her husband, her parents and onesister: MaryLou Terrill.
She is survived by 5 sons: Robert (Kay) Peters of Canisteo,Lynn Peters of Canisteo, Daniel (Sue) Peters of Canisteo, Crispen (Valerie)Peters of Walworth and Mark Peters of Rochester, 4 Brothers: Gary (Barbara)Hays, Cyril "Skippy" (Pat) Hays, Jim (Barbara) Hays and Lawrence Hays, 2Sisters: Agnes Hunt and Olive Sarro, 9 Grandchildren: David (Danielle) Peters,Wendy (Dan) Stiker, Pete Peters, Michelle (Joe) Lyons, Bryan (Amy) Peters,Jason (Amy) Peters, Kirstie (Jason) Peters, Samantha Peters and Shae Peters, 14great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Tina will be greatly missed by all her family and friends, aspecial thank you to her best friend Irene Brown for her love and support andAlice Weed for her enduring friendship.
