38 Depot St.,passed away unexpectedly Monday (June 26, 2006) at St. James Hospital.
Born in Hornell, August 18, 1946, the daughterof Earl and Dolores O'Rourke Houghtaling, shehad resided in Hornell all her life. She was a graduate of Hornell High Schooland had been employed at the former Marion Rohr in Hornell an the SteubenARC. She was a member of the Arkport United Methodist Church.
She was predeceased byher father, Earl Houghtaling.
She is survived by herhusband, William White whom she married June 25, 1966, her mother, Dolores Houghtaling of Hornell,2 daughters, Tammy (Joe) Pierce of Hornell and Amy (Tadd)Everman of Dansville, 4 sons, Bill (Janet) White ofHornell, Kevin (Claire) White of Arkport, Greg (Stacey) White of Hornell, andJeff (Dulcey) White of Hornell, 3 sisters, Jean (Al) Stever of Arkport, Kathy Biddle of Hornell, Karan (Paul) Mess of Canaseraga,2 brothers- Thomas (Teresa) Houghtaling of Canisteo,William (Connie) Houghtaling of North Hornell, Mother-in-Law, Esther White ofHornell, brother-in-law, Jack (Dorothy) White of Hornell, 12 grandchildren,Brooke and Jason Pierce, Arden, Adrianna, Brandon, Justin and Meghan White, Kody, Katelin, and Karter Everman, Crystal andMichael Nolte, several nieces & nephews.
