Beverly Dixon, 78, of 25 Holly Terrace, passed away Thursday (May 9, 2013) at the Hornell Gardens.
Born in Hornell, December 28, 1934, the daughter of Harry C. and Leila R. (Blunt) Travis, she was a lifelong area resident, graduating from Hornell High School "Class of 1952". Early in her career she had worked for the former McHenry's Jewelers, Loohn's cleaners, and later retired from the Hornell Credit Bureau in 2002. She was an avid reader, especially in her retirement; spending her day's in her favorite chair with a good book.
Beverly was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was predeceased by her parents, her son Brian R. Rohalla, 2 sisters Ruth Wilder and Dolores Travis.
She is survived by her daughter Roxanne Rohalla of Hornell, grandsons Christopher (Lee) Rohalla-Wilson of Ashville, NY, Joseph (Karen) Rohalla of Hornell, great grandchildren Breann and Chloe Rohalla, Dylan Rohalla, and Emalee Mess, and 2 brothers Glenn and Don Travis and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hornell Public Library.

A private Memorial service will be held at the discretion of the family.
